CBS's prime time news show
48 Hours has become
one of the most predictable
bores that there is on television.
How they manage to keep the
show on the air is the only
mystery looming over this
program.

It's another stunning example
of wasted broadcast time
which COULD be applied to
REAL news such as post
service Vet stories and
how their lives are effected
after the VA Chamber Of
Horrors robs them of life,
limb, and happiness forever
as a Thank You note for
serving our griping country.

Don't even bother tuning
into 48 HOURS because
the show has now been reduced
into a catalog of weekly murders.
Just how many murders do they
think the public can sit through
before the whole issue of murders
itself becomes a predictable
bore??

Each week it's the victims
point of view versus the Defense
Attorney for the perpetrators
point of view. What a freakin
WASTE !! The victims
and families NEVER agree with
the Defense Attorney for the
perpetrator so what the hell
is this program really trying
to tell us, anyway?

And for those of you who
actually believe that TV
is legitimate and driven
by Nielsen Ratings, think
again. The news shows are
sponsored and put on by
the TV networks. It's really
NOT up for public opinion.

This is how lousy Sunday
shows like Meet The Press
are allowed to go on and on
without being yanked from
the daytime lineup.

TV is phoney like all other
things so it is wholly worth
pursuing by Veterans advocates
to challenge the networks about
the pile of crap they are putting
on during prime time, when they
really could be cranking out
expose' type post-duty Veterans
stories.

Apparently every single murder
that takes place in the United
States on any given day is
elevated to national interest
viewing, when the Veterans of
America cannot land a lousy
5 minute news spot anywhere to
OUT the freakin VA for the
Monkey Squad that they are.

Apparently national military
service is Trumped by a local
murder story now to add
insult to injury. I hope
48 Hours can get over itself
soon and perhaps be replaced
with new episodes of THE UNIT
so the Veterans can at least
get SOME say of justice albeit
from the indirect means of
a fictional drama show.
