I have come to the conclusion
that celebrity news has completely
lost its mind and must be
desperate on a scale for
something to report on.

Entertainment Tonight in particular
has spent the last few weeks
scraping the bottom of the
proverbial Hollywood barrel
on repeat stories to nowhere
on not-so celebrity types
who are really not worth our
time to even know about.

Anna Nicole Smith has almost
single handedly ushered in
an era of TV news based on
stupidity, mental illness,
and the quintessential STOOGE
character of a moron in despair,
and it is all of this that
national TV networks rewards
this ass from hell with non
stop and relentless publicity
and neverending broadcast
airtime.

In the meantime, Veterans
who have inside stories that
would expose the 4 corners
of the VA and the pile of
crap that it truly is, holding
a promise of chartopping ratings
for any network with the
wisdom to know drama news
when it's handed to them on
a silver platter, goes completely
untapped and falls dead
on the ears of TV producers.

Just ask yourself what
significant contribution
to society has Anna Nicole
Smith made that puts her so
very front and center on
Entertainment Tonight on
the NBC network??

She first married an old
guy old enough to be her
own great grandfather for
money. So let me ask the
obvious here. Is this the
first time in history this
has ever happened??

She then loses weight. Is
this another first?

She then bombs in a B porn
movie as an actress -- nobody
cares and let me ask again,
is this a first? It's not
as if this was a Hollywood
release and people actually
went to see it.

Now her son shows up dead
while visiting her in the
hospital, and she herself
is suspected by police as
the culprit who gave him
toxic doses of conflicting
pharms.

Blonde, stupid, and without
talent and for this, she
gets relentless and continuous
celebrity standing on
Entertainment Tonight.
Give me a freakin BREAK !!

Apparently I am missing
something here.

If walking around like a
complete moron all day is
what it takes now to become
relentless headline news, then
Geez. This has truly been the
Vet mistake all along!!!

That's it -- we are too smart
and too together to get equal
airtime on NBC !! Dam it,
I just knew there was a reason
that I hated the Army and this
