Ordering Information and Closing Out by McClellanVet (created on )Gallery | Comments
We are now one full year out from the
end and termination of the former VDBC
Commission and their historic report
to Congress. This forum is slated for
eventual phase out at some point.
While the Commission's official website
is still on line, that too will be closed
out at some point.

You can still go there for the electronic
version of their book at the bottom
of the home page at www.vetscommission.org

Also you will find there the entire
official Transcripts collection showing
my many appearances there to do
floor speeches at the Public Comment
portion of the hearings, where I took
on the entire VSO establishment right
in their proverbial faces.

When the website closes, you will have
to shift over either to library copies
or ordering the book at a considerable
expense.

To that end, here is the ordering information
for the main VDBC report, plus the related
and contracted reports which were tied
to the main report from the Institute
of Medicine who did an outstanding job
of outting the VA for it's incompetencies
and failures in a corrupted and bungled
system for disability benefits and care
to Veterans.

We were proud and happy to be a contributing
party to the VDBC public hearing process
and to endorse many of the floor votes
which made up the final findings by
the VDBC. We applaud and salute the
Institute of Medicine for having the courage
to, once and for all, take an official stand
against the VA's practices in the name
of the higher good for Veterans patient
care.

The individual Commissioners had a
daunting task ahead of them to sort
out a confused and chaotic system
that was shrouded in VA lies, deception,
and secrecy and when confronted,
were put upon to sit through one
ridiculous VA stunt and charade after
another to insult their own dignity
and official standings.

Here now is the related ordering
or library information for the books
collection coming from those historic
national veterans procedings.

Ordering the Main VDBC Report to Congress

Ordering the Institute of Medicines
Public Condemnation of the VA's
Existing Presumptive Statusing System,
recommending a shift from the current
"act of Congress" method to a simple
forms processing method at the
VA agency which is oversighted by
an in-agency Science board that
does all the work for applying Veteran
medical patients.

The Ordering information for the
other book report contracted by the
VDBC by the Institute of Medicine which
publicly condemned the existing VA
disability medical profiles as obsoleted
and in emergency need of revision.
Dr. Lonnie Bristow of the IOM was
every Veterans hero on that day
when he told a stunned VDBC that
the VA's disability system was completely
out of whack with todays conventional
medicine practices. This IOM report
to this very minute, continues to sit
ignored by a dumb and lazy Congress.

Make no mistake about what has
transpired in the story of the VDBC.
They took 2 years of public hearings
hearing from thousands of veterans
everywhere, spending hundreds of
thousands of dollars in budget and
contract money, to review the entirety
of the VA disability system. The
report has largely sat ignored and
not acted upon by a Congress which
has never examined the entirety of
the system at any time in their lifetime,
and is too dumb and incompetent
itself to pass and adopt the findings
of the VDBC.

It's the smart, handing off to the
stupid and the lazy. This is why
Commissions of the future are a
complete waste of time because
there is nobody with a brain to hand
off to, once they firmly investigate
the VA.

I hope this ordering or library information
on the book reports will go on to have
a life of their own and will be remembered
in our Veterans community as the sincere
body of work that it was, in an effort
to save Vet lives in the hands of a
VA system which is wholly and undisputedly
rooted in medical malpractice, patient abuse,
and human torture, while a silent rest of
the world looks on.
