Slackers like to hide under every
rock of deception known to mankind
when it comes to putting up a
storefront and using the name
of Veterans to make themselves
look good.

Senator Johnny Isakson is a republican
from Georgia. He served in the
air national guard during
the Vietnam War, 1966 to 1972, this
back at a time when the reserves
and the Guard did very little in
a combat theater. Back then, it
was all about the draft and the
federally standardized Regular Army
and so on that got everything done.

While Isakson talks a good game
on his website, The Thomas registery
was empty on any legislation he
had sponsored in the name of
Veterans, outside of a single
Bill which mandated the new
construction of a VA Hospital in
Georgia. I kid you not. Here
is the list that Thomas came back
with on Isakson's name and that
was that. (transferred by cut
and paste)

Not very much is impressive about
this guy at all. He's married and
goes to church. Used to be a realtor
in his community. Geez, I guess a
U.S. Senator riding on the name
of Veterans is a really BIG
jump in payscale, Don't Ya Think ??

I don't even recall him showing
up for any of the VDBC Commission
review hearings and that should
get everyones attention too. Yes
it's the Senate Veterans Affairs
Committee No-Show --- I guess
air national guard thinks their
titles alone actually means a lot
out here.

Isakson enters our Hall of Slackers
and Buffoons, until he can see his
way clear to actually EARN our
recognition out here.

I live down here in Ga. and Sue you hit the nail on the head, I asked him and congressman Kingsdon for help (other vets down here have also asked for there help), they promise tht they will help, but when you call them back one or two months later they don't know what you are talking about. Both men have done nothing for the veterans, but talk a good BS line.
