Thanks for your response about SSD, Actually thanks mccallan vet for all your postings they have been quite informatife. I currently have my senator working on my SSD, but not sure where it will go from here. If we could get more people to write senators and congress, some of them really care, and try to help

As I have already posted in the Grievances
Forum above, to day there is no "revision"
or "amendment" processs available inside
the Social Security disability system.
I have updates myself and cannot get
it corrected or added. You have to file
complaints to the Committee who has
jurisdiction over Social Security and
then push for new legislation to add
the process so that Social Security claims
can be revised after ruled upon.

Most Social Security lawyers will tell
you right now that it really doesn't
matter at all just as long as you
have the favorable ruling from SSD
and are getting paid, since they do
not award on percentages like the VA,
but instead, it is all or nothing at
Social Security. So a revision will
not effect your award.

However, the rest of us do know
that it is important, for liability
sake, for all of the papers across
both agencies to say the same exact
thing. So in this regard, they are
missing the point.

I was not crippled at the time I
passed through SSD, now I am. But
Social Security has no revision process.

You have to advocate for the process
to be installed first, then go from
there. SSD does not even have a form
to fill out for revisions.
