just to add to this, if you get a certain percentage from the VA and are not working and have to claim SSI, do they take your percentage from the VA into consideration when you apply for SSI?

HI,
Does ssi have an income retriction?
The reason I ask is because I draw a small disabilty pension from the state and if ssi don't have a restriction, I could really use the money. I not working.

No! Social Security Disability and SSI are SEPERATE programs from the VA. If you are disabled and unable to work then you should apply for SS and SSI. Cool
