There reaches a point where public tolerances
only goes just so far.

Veterans are making the news almost every
week now, at all ages, regardless of combat
or non-combat service, and ain't none of
it good.

Let's get something straight: going out in
a hail of KookBall glory does NOT draw
public sympathy. It backfires the other
way and causes people to RESENT Veterans.

I predict it is only a matter of time
where we start to see the ugly side of
this backlash, and that will come for
a call from some dark place inside of
a state or federal legislature, to
establish the first of it's kind
Veterans Registery
which is on equal standing with the
so-called Sex Offender Registries.

Yup, that is where I forsee all of this
heading. The public, over time, will
want to be "notified" when a "military
veteran" is living in their community.
All in the name of public safety, mind
you.

All of you men really do need to get
a grip on your dam brains. Guns,
suicide, taking out family and neighbors:
What the Hell is all of this, anyway?

And DO please Spare ME, the lame and
overused CRAPPOLA of an excuse as PTSD.
Bullshit, I say, because this is a common
factor in almost every headline news
veteran across even when they have
no combat experience.

These are just whiners and KookBalls who
crap at the very smallest signs of life
being difficult. There really is a problem
here and it is this very KookBall crowd
who is giving the rest of us a very bad
name.

Too many of you are saying this is a
VA problem: Bullshit, again I say.
It is a RECRUITING problem where the
mentally ill are brought into active
duty, far far too easily and it is
here that all things have to stop.

If you are already in the gene pool
to come down with Schizophrenia when
you are older, then complicate Schizophrenic
symptoms with the abuse of drugs, inhalents,
or alcohol, then guess what Dumb-Ass?
Your brain accellerates into overdrive
even FASTER with the KookBall symptoms
and delusions and hallucinations.

Who are these Jackasses from Hell
who are of the idea they can do
recreational drugs while having a
mental illness and that this course
of action will make things all better?

This is a failure on other Veterans
not getting the word out to Jackasses
in the making, that hallucinating drugs
AND mental illness will only take
you down the road of self-destruction
and the next unfavorable headline
story of the week as murderer of the
innocent instead of glorified military
guy who is a Loser at Large and couldn't
make a go of it no matter what.

This is CRAP on a stick: people have
hard lives all the time and overcome
the obstacles. Success stories are born
every day, but those are NOT the ones
who top the news and grabs all the
headlines. It's the KookBalls and social
misfits who are put front and center
as the ICONS of the military world.

Most all of you are men who do this,
and it is also men who do this who
have NEVER been in the military, so
get a dam clue everybody that this
is a Male phenomenon and not a military
one!!! Stop excusing this stuff away
and especially stop blaming the VA
for everything that happens. There
really are KookBalls from hell who
are high on nothing more than their
own futile wheel-spinning and Testosterone
On Overload.

Life is hard, get used to it. When
you come out of the military, life
is different, get used to it. Get
over your dumb and sorry selves and
get help or legal medication one
or the other.

Stop murdering your neighborhoods,
stop murdering your families, stop
murdering your wives and kids, and
especially stop murdering yourselves.

You take all the rest of us along
for the ride, and frankly I for
one do NOT want to share the same
box with your dumb and sorry asses.

Like I said, everybody, it's only
a matter of time before the public
starts lashing out against us as
a population. Veterans are emerging
as the biggest bunch of Sniffle-Butted
Candy-Asses of all time.

Whatever happened to our SURVIVOR
identity, you know, where we can
all adapt and live on almost nothing
at all, and still get the job done??
Where the HELL did THAT go?

Veterans are looking for a macho identity
out in the civilian life which is few
and far between. Nobody cares you were
in the military, and you will always
and always be out-Bravado'd by those
who actually served in combat so grow
up you diaper cases, and get over
it and move on.

Nobody is going to give you Hero status
after you take out half the dam neighborhood
for no good reason. So take your murder
Tantrums someplace else, and let the rest
of us get our dignity back for a job
well done and moving on in spite of it all.

The KookBall syndrome that some of you
are perpetuating in the communities,
are going to have it where not one
single military guy will ever be able
to get a girl or get married like
a regular person because all of the
women will become too alarmed from
headline news to even tie up with one
out of fear for her own safety.

That's where all of this will go,
so you all need to contemplate just
how your moment of dumb actions
somehow translates into the Vet
down the road who is left behind.

Start taking responsibility for your
dumb and sorry selves and stop
with the bullshit headlines competing
for the "crime of the century".

We are NOT amused out here.

Suspected remains recovered from burned suburban St. Louis house that was site of ambush

By CHERYL WITTENAUER
Associated Press Writer

MAPLEWOOD, Mo. (AP) -- Authorities on Tuesday recovered what they believe to be charred remains from the rubble of a burned house from which a gunman may have ambushed emergency workers, St. Louis County's medical examiner said.

Investigators also found a long barrel that came from a rifle or shotgun, county police spokeswoman Tracy Panus said.

The barrel and apparent remains were found at the collapsed house, where a gunman was believed to have holed up Monday after shooting at emergency workers responding to a report of a burning pickup truck in the St. Louis suburb of Maplewood. One firefighter was killed and two police officers were wounded in the attack.

The county medical examiner, Dr. Mary Case, said the apparent remains will be examined Wednesday to try to determine whose they are.

Panus noted that some witness statements indicated a person inside the house was seen lighting clothes on fire.

Meanwhile, the family of the man listed on St. Louis County property records as the owner of the house released a statement.

"We are deeply sorry for the loss of Maplewood firefighter Ryan Hummert. His death is a senseless tragedy, and we are praying for his family," the statement said.

The statement, identified as being from the family of Mark Knobbe, also expressed sorrow for the attack on two police officers, who survived. The statement said Knobbe had been estranged from the family for nearly a decade and had not spoken to them.

The family expressed shock and sadness, adding, "our hearts are truly with the families and friends" of the victims.

They said Knobbe was a 52-year-old Navy veteran whose tour of duty included submarine work. He was not married and had no children.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Knobbe received four notices of violation over four years from the city of Maplewood regarding problems on his property. Knobbe received his most recent - for having high grass at his home - a week before the shootings.

The scene at the house where a modest brick bungalow once stood was active all day Tuesday, with backhoes and cadaver dogs helping investigators piece together a narrative to explain an ambush from the home of a man no neighbor knew much about.

Public records list the owner as Knobbe, who bought the home more than 10 years ago. Neighbors said he never spoke to anyone and always had his blinds pulled.
