Hi guy's and Gal's I have'nt posted in a while, but I need some help, and I thought that maybe one of you may be able to help.
I have written my congressman about this and he does nothin, I have written attorney's regarding the situation and there's no reply, I have even sent email's to the (VVA)Veitnam Veteran's of America and the have yet to reply; it's as if no one cares. HERE'S THE SITUATION: My neices father, recently passed away, he was a veitnam Veteran, he had fought for 20+ years for VA compensation, and he never got them. His daughter, my neice, is mentally challanged; she's 20 years old and has the mind of a 12 year old. She lives with her mother and her mother is having a hard time takeing care of her, and I can't. Her father, had his claim for VA disability remanded back to the RO 9 times because the VBA kept finding fault with it, and 3 1/2 years ago the VBA finally took it out of the RO's hands. Then the VBA, sat on it for three years and never made a decision, and when the VBA found out that the veteran had pass on; they droped the case. WTF,hello!!!!!!, the veteran had dependent's; what about them. What are they supose to do? I have sent in for survivors benefits for my neice, and she might not even get that. Any information or help regarding this situation would be appreciated, thank you. |
