The Senate confirmation hearings
have begun for Paul J. Hutter to
be the next VA General Counsel,
replacing former Tim McLain as
the chief opponent and adversary
to Veterans disability claims.

It has been a long standing practice
for the VA to use Veterans against
Veterans and the Office of General
Counsel is one of those crucial spots
where this takes place.

Hutter is currently the Assistant
OGC from the Baltimore Regional Office
and is merely next in line for the
job.

Starting out his lowly and seedy
career as an Army JAG prosecutor
against Veterans on active duty,
he then quickly became the VA's
golden boy representing the agency
in Equal Employment Opportunity
Defense and Merit Systems Protection
Board Defense so that suing Veterans
could never receive justice due
through alternate paths of litigation.
What a guy.

Be familiar with his name because
he will be the new VA guy to deny
all of your claims in the hereafter.

Former OGC Tim McLain has left the
VA and set up a private practice
in the Franklin Tower Building
in downtown Washington, right across
the street from the McPherson Square
Metro subway station at 14th and K
Streets.

McLain has attempted to switch
sides, representing Veterans instead
of the VA in a new pro bono
assistance program for veterans
claims, but the law firm itself
has no background or track record
in disability law practice, nor
has anyone asked the question yet
of whether or not it is legal for
Tim to represent the very cases
which he himself DENIED on behalf
of the VA. I would check into
that question at the DC Bar Assocation
before hooking up with Tim, just
for yer own protection if ya know
what I mean.

Aside from that, I guess Tim's
guilty concience got the best
of him.
