The U.S. Army Womens Museum at
Fort Lee, VA. has an impressive
collection of jewelry, clothing,
and other rememberance offerings
for sale at their Gift Shop which
benefits the museum itself.

I have to say that many non-profits
just don't get it on their merchandising
but this is one place where older
women Vets, emphasis Womens Army
Corps, can take out their wallets
and spend on some really cool stuff.

Even on the cheap side, there is
a color photograph post card offering
of the former WAC Chapel at Fort
McClellan, Ala. ---- I place that
I will be standing in during the
month of October for an up and
coming Company Reunion on the base.

I liked several of the shirts and
a couple of the jackets, and DO
look it ALL over because you
will be surprised at all the clever
pieces they have to sell.

I went to the Gift Shop at the
Kennedy Center in Washington last
summer, and the shirts they were
selling totally sucked. So you
can see just how on-target the
Womens Museum merchandise really is
and perhaps you can spend here
sometimes to get some of the
Vet identity-ware that most of
us are into the next time you
are on a shopping hunt.

With Memorial Day coming up,
maybe it's time for a new holiday
shirt for the parades passing by.
