It's hard to say, even with
decades of military history,
whether or not the boys have
a greater and natural streak
of rebellion in them which
exceeds that of us girls.
Who really knows?

But I can say to you for sure,
that the women Vets are by
far, really, really, really,
& REALLY caught up in the
whole ritual of Blind Obedience
after leaving the armed services.

Even when I come across it right
now, it still catches me off
guard and I am the inquisitive
type who wants to put that
under a microscope and ask the
obvious question: Why is this
so ??

The reality is, that this whole
Blind-Obedience thing that women
Vets do, may very well be a
contributing factor to the
fraud, corruption, incompetence,
and malpractice that the VA
so openly touts in our faces,
and has an unintended outcome
of giving them the confidence
they need to do any old kind
of dysfunctional Hocus-Pocus
right out in the open without
fear of Vet retalliation, or
(HELLO!) even being found out!

This raises the question as to
whether or not we, as the unique
gender-figures that we are,
ought to be looking in the
mirror and going "H-m-m-m!"
Confused Roll Eyes Frown

So let's get real for a minute.
What's up with the Obedience
Crap?? This is a fair question
to know.

This sounds to me like the
proverbial psycho-carryover by
on-duty extremists who are
unable to find the functional
on & off switch which makes
that all-important distinction
between active duty, and
....D-U-H ! HELLO !! You are
free now......!

Incredibly, we are trained to
eat glass and enjoy it in the
face of an enemy in pursuit.

But let us put on a pair of
Civies and stick us in a VA
Lobby, and let the yellow
streak grow up the middle of our
backs like a skunk let loose
in a road-painting truck!!
G-E-E-E-E-Z !!!!!

What is it about dummies
in the agencies that none of
us understands ??

The agencies have never been
the Commander-In-Chief to us,
so where is it that Blind
Obedience fits into this mix?
Inquiring Vet-Minds want to know.
I just don't get it.

The VA is a place of corruption,
sabotage, subversion, malpractice,
fools running amuck, foreign
immigrants who could give a
rats ass about YOU, people who
cannot even spell the word
M-i-l-u-t-e-r-r-y, and Wanna-Be's
who try to look important but
really aren't !! In short, the
VA is a communist Zoo disguised
as a medical facility.

What's to be "obedient" for ??

Consider the fact that while you
were in dress Greens and holding
that all-important Security
Clearance that you nearly had
to sell your own mother for to
get by NSA, your very identity,
your S-number, your rank, your
MOS, and your very duty assignment
could be deemed "classified"
and not even the best efforts
of Moscow could shake it loose
for the availability of knowing.

But holy-tamoly, upon release
of the service, just let
yourself walk into a VA emergency
room full of "trainees" from the
nearby MEDICAL SCHOOL who haven't
even graduated with a medical
degree yet; or haven't gone
through a single probing background
check for criminal history;
let alone a DMV check to verify
their identity;--- and now all
of us women Vets turn into the
CBS networks newest TV reality
show called "The Wimp Factor" !!
Wow --- what a stunning transition.

If we are to survive this
Monkey Squad system that they
have set up for us, then it's
time to pull your gumption
and techniques of enemy resistance
out of the attic duffel bag, and
start using it as you walk the
halls of the VA.

It behooves our life expectancy
rates as the historical and
modern day treasures that we are,
to polish off the combat shin-highs
and remind this crapbag of an
agency how well they fit where
the sun doesn't shine in a
military minute, whenever we
are on enemy reconnaissance as
we travel the halls of landmines,
booby-traps, and malpractice grenades
of the VA Hospitals and agencies.

It's dangerous out there, in
case none of you have noticed,
and the only way to survive this
VA is to break out the greasepaint
and go camoflage.

Enough already with the obedience
foolishness inside this VA
rendition of Keystone-Cops.

Question, interrogate, evaluate,
and refuse this pile of crap called
the VA if you see an eminent threat
heading your way. Your days of
blind obedience are now over,
and let us together pledge from
this day on, no more displays of
Private Benjamin by us at the
VA facilities.
