VA has posted a rescue plan for those
of us Veterans who are victims of the
recent outbreak of shredded documents
and falsified claims prominently known
on the internet right now as Shredder-Gate.

The VA Regional Office at New York
City was involved in this, and on the
heels of the very public firing of
Joseph Collorafi who was the CHIEF
of the VARO NYC Claims Unit, crime
victim vet cases should get plugged
into this VA LINK for the recovery
of their cases.

I for one say the plan does not go
far enough, as my own case has just
now been docketed at the CVA on
the fake and phoney Remand order
that followed the trashing of my
case. But lawyers are looking at
this post by the VA to figure out
where to start from as they scramble
to set up my appeal.

I have not yet had enough time to
post the firing article on Joseph
Collorafi because I am searching for
other personal documents to put together
with that post.

The VA is insisting right now that
Shredder-Gate only involved a few
VARO locations. There was a sham of
a hearing today at the House Veterans
Affairs Committee which is on webcast
at www.house.gov running about an
hour, where VA's incompetent Extraordinairre
Patrick Dunne tried to suggest that the
whole crisis is under control.

Completely left out of this discussion
was the fact that this scandal went
on for YEARS with nobody doing anything
on it, while the VA Inspector General
sent entire stacks of rejection letters
back to those of us who were trying to
report it, and refusing to invoke
jurisdiction on it. Also left out of
the discussion was the VSO organizations
themselves who were FORCING sick veterans
to "process" the falsified and trashed
cases coming out of VARO after the
documents were shredded.

The House and Senate Veterans Affairs
Committee are themselves too entrenched
with the VSO's to impartially hold
hearings on Shredder-Gate as evidenced
by todays roundtable on webcast.
Essentially Chairman Bob Filner had
made the decision all by himself
that the VSO's were choir boys in this
whole thing and then invited them
alone to sit in on the roundtable
while the Veterans who are actually
victimized by Shredder-Gate were
completely excluded from making
an appearance before the Committee.

This is how things are smoothed
over, covered up, and downplayed
on Capitol Hill with the Ole Boys
Testosterone Club.

Anyhow, Veterans who are from the
named locations on Shredder-Gate,
including VARO New York City,
should get hooked up with the LINK
I just entered here and send your
lawyers to that destination to
figure out what to do next.

Also I recommend doing what I just
did and that was to email the VA
(especially if a firing has taken
place at your facility where you
know the guy is actually no longer
on your case) at: iris@va.gov
naming your VARO location on the
Subject line of the email, and
identify yourself as a Shredder-Gate
case giving them your C number
and whatever. IRIS is the VA's
secured email system for internal
routing to VARO destinations.

This may be forwarded to the Inspector
General investigators who are actually
probing the Shredder-Gate matter.

Lets hope this turns into some real criminal charges, not the usual VA "failing upwards".
