Having just got back from a full
workday on Monday in Washington
DC, I can tell you that the Fort
McClellan legislation effort is
now in the hands of some 10 senior
congressional staffers spanning
across the House and Senate.

The issue is leaving the DAMA subcommittee
and moving to another destination, and
I was there to execute that transition.
The move is made out of an expectation
for faster and speedier delivery on the
final Bill for the Fort McClellan
contamination zone. DAMA is holding
on budgets which are allegedly subject
to "offsets" and the issue will be moved
to a new committee where they are under
discretionary funding. The transition
meeting went well and I trust that will
be completed by next week.

Also an unplanned and unscheduled
meeting was held with senior
staff for one of the Alabama
congressionals who represents the
Anniston (Fort McClellan) district.

I was fronted by a formal introduction
by the House Veterans Affairs Committee
and on that note, they all dropped
what they were doing and gave me
a full 30 minute meeting on the spot.

They were unaware about the lockout
of the Veterans from the Monsanto
zone, and were stunned, sensitive,
and apologetic that this happened
to us. After taking several pages of
handwritten notes and reviewing the
law facts, they have concluded that
an official letter will be sent on
Alabama letterhead confronting the
VA Secretary in Washington about
why no developments have been made
on establishing the Health Registery
for the Veterans.

In the hereafter, Alabama will be included
in other Committee meetings involving
Fort McClellan and they are considered
our supporters and friends at this time.

We are just now entering the Senate
side of the Veterans Committee, which
is a different universe altogether,
and that meeting went well as did
an update meeting with Senator Hillary
Clintons office who is the Senator
of district for my hometown.

I am in touch with all of the people
involved by email in between site trips
to Washington, and documents are
moved into them as they need them
to get everything accomplished.

With Alabama involved at the VA
at this time, we think this will
be enough to rock the world of
the VA Secretary to get up off it
and get moving !!

If you have not seen my official
appearance at the DAMA House Committee
in our Forum below this one yet, do
take the time to click on the LINK
and read over my official testimony
on the Fort McClellan matter. There
are a pile of Illiterate and psychotic
KookBalls on the internet who are
making up their very own story as they
go along, none of which is true.
The truth sits here at this website
as we are the only official Fort
McClellan group that Washington is
talking to for legislation. Leave the
Nut Jobs behind because they will
only lead you down the road to confusion
and no information at all.
