Well it has been 2 full days now
of panic releases coming from
Senator Daniel Akaka's office over
issues of PTSD and TBI findings
which are showing him up to be
the total ineffective YUTZ! of the
day and played for a fool at
every turn by the VA.

Scurrying around apparently trying
to save his own image for being
too cajolling, too Ole Boy, too
ineffective, and too Smiley Face
at the oversight hearings of the
VA, and shall I add: too suckered
in by the all-too smoth lines which
the VA officials are all too often
handed out at these Senate hearings
that we are all forced to sit through.

Akaka has been clubbed over the
head with the reality first that
Dr. Ira Katz of the Mental Disorders
division will not likely resign
just because those in the Senate
barked out such a demand. Hey, Daniel,
Welcome to OUR World!

Then the VA Inspector General turns
around the very next day to unveil
a report showing that the VA is
still taking full responsibility
for Traumatic Brain Injury cases.

This has sent Senator Daniel into
a frenzy. The truth is, the entire
Vet Center idea
at the VA is a complete failure.

I reported out during the VDBC
Commission hearings that the guy
who is the top dog of the Vet
Centers, is himself a complete
TrainWreck. Yes he is a Veteran
and I cannot even tell you that
he is a licensed psychiatrist.
He has neurological problems leaving
him inarticulate and barely
comprehendable.

So it's no surprise to this
Activist that it's the Vet
Centers where all of the problems
are coming from.

Senator Akaka has been touting
his new funding Bill of S. 2162
which is to beef up the flow
of money and to increase the number
of National PTSD Centers in the
VA site inventory. Big deal if the
ones which are working are not
even doing their jobs to begin
with. Excuse me but I just don't
get it.

This is like taking something that
is totally DUMB, and then throwing
more DUMB into it so it will work
better. I say: H--U--H ??

Then he wants to throw his other
bill, S. 2799 which is a Womens
Veteran treatment bill, special
emphasis on Iraq and Afghanistan,
also out in the middle of this
to continue the charade that somehow
the BACKLOGGED womens cases are
actually being taken care of.

Of course if you are NOT working
on the BACKLOG, then those women
still do sit.

The problem at hand here is Senator
Daniel Akaka is too busy sucking
up to the VA, and sucking up to
the VSO's, and yet time and time
again, day after day, these are
the very 2 places which are coming
back to kick him in the pants and
show him what a disconnected FOOL
he really is for even listening
to them.

As the former Lead Activist at
the VDBC Commission hearings who
was the first out of the gate
to argue, argue, and argue the
new issue of Vet Suicides and
Premature Death, I am happy that
these issues were finally seized
by the CORPORATE fools who sat
around for all eternity while
this crisis grew and flourished
as they all sat with their Blank
faces when it was their turn to
come to the hearing microphone.

If ya look around in this very
Forum, you will find that nearly
1/4th of all my VDBC speeches
made reference to Vet Suicides
and premature death. So in this
regard, Senator Daniel, you are
preaching to the CHOIR just to
give you a heads up!!

Ineffective, inadequate, uncommanding,
and not forceful enough Senate
Oversight Hearings is what we have
all be getting out of this guy,
and perhaps after he crashes and
burns enough times with his Fame-Monkey
ways, he will finally wake up and
start imposing legislation which
is broad and sweeping policy that
is NOT "one-at-a-time" and reactionary
to first one VA fire, then another,
then another, then another.

Senator Daniel Akaka: Get your head
out of the news media and start kicking
this VA and the bungled and incompetent
VSO's right in the pants.
