There is something to be said
for polite or artful speech.

I used to be one of those who
closely followed the rules of
journalism. But upon entering
this Veterans system, it
became a more compelling question
about who our audiences really
are, and whether or not they
actually deserve polite and
artful speech. Or whether
the time is now to get right
down in the mud and say:
"hey fool, you're killing people
with your stupidness!"

While Rep. Steve Buyer is no
longer Chairman of the House
Veterans Affairs Committee,
(and not a minute too soon
either), he still is operating
as if he is. He is flooding the
Republican web page of the
Committee, with more nonsense
than Bayer has aspirin. The
new Chairman, Filner on the
other hand, is filling up the
Committee home page with
missed targets and snowballs
that nobody cares about. Go
figure.

There is a dangerous mode of
operation that floats in the
atmosphere over Washington DC
that all Veterans and independent
Advocates need to know about.

It's called Parrot Head Buzz
Word overkill. They all do it,
but it's important to sort out
the worst offenders so you can
navigate the waters of trickery
and deception in the Washington
maze when you are trying to
save lives inside the VA system.
A reduced death rate is the
best we can ever hope for, let's
face it.

Steve Buyer has posted an article
at the House Vet website decrying
more VA computer data loss at
VA Birmingham, Alabama. In his
pursuit of trying to shake a
web page finger at the system,
he titles the article and refers
to the failures at the VA as
"......a culture of indifference...."!!

What the hell is THAT ??
Confused Roll Eyes Confused

Incredibly we found another
Washington Post article about
one of their own famed reporters,
David Rosenbaum, who was killed
when a group of ambulance workers
responding to his home, failed
to properly diagnose his condition
of having a fatal head wound
after a burglary gone bad.
That article too had the catch phrase:
"..culture of indifference.."

So ya can see where this is all
going with the Me-Too guy
at the House Veterans Affairs
Committee.

Let's Get Real !!!

Hey Steve Buyer, it's called
malpractice out here
in the real world, and people
do get sued for it!! It's also
called patient abuse or
how about just plain "the VA
doesn't care what Congress
says" !! That too sounds like
a home run. Apparently Buyer
has a mind-block on calling
things what they really are.

We called for the firing of
VA Secretary Jim Nicholson,
way, way, way, back last year
when the first VA laptop
computer came up missing.
So what is it about STUPID,
Mr. Buyer, that YOU don't
understand?? Chronic stupid
does not get fixed by singing
Nicholson's praises on the House
Committee website. Chronic
stupid gets fixed by firing
and it ends there.

All Veterans and Advocates
absolutely do have to beware
now that clear public admissions
are being made in the form
of "reworded" catch phrases,
which are apparently inserted
in the national dialogue to
throw all of you off guard
and not make you fully understand
just how severe and serious
the matter at hand really is.

There is No "culture of
indifference". There are only
incompetent people who are
hired when they aren't fully
qualified to hold title, and
there is only legal and medical
MALPRACTICE and harmful
negligence. And both of those
get sued in federal tort claims.
Hey Buyer, when were you
last in college??

Perhaps someday Honorable Stupid
at the House Veterans Affairs
Committee, can start consulting
a real dictionary for a change,
instead of relying on Washington
buzz words and catch phrases
which mean nothing at all. Be
sure to let him know that
we Veterans absolutely DO know
the meaning of the word "malpractice".
