| If any of you have ever had an illusion that somehow the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization was somehow on the up and up, then get a load of this. Top aide to Republican Steve Buyer Col. Jeff Phillips of the House Veterans Affairs Committee recently got promoted to Brigadier General and will be leaving Buyer's staff. And who does Buyer pick as his replacement ?? Brian E. Lawrence, assistant legislative director of DAV in Washington. Yes, this is the same Brian Lawrence who has appeared time and time and time again "allegedly" as a Veterans WITNESS appearing before the House in official testimony many times over which can be pulled up on searches from GOOGLE.COM. If this doesn't look like the FIX is in with this obsessive and fanatical Republican side of the Committee then I don't know what does. By the way, this is the same exact DAV legislative office who told the many women of the Fort McClellan Veterans to go screw themselves when we came knocking on the DAV's door for emergency assistance. I kid you not. Here is the 2003 "thank you for sharing" I got from the very office Brian E. Lawrence sits in. Let this be another knotch of deception on the wood club of jerk around that Rep. Steve Buyer likes dump by the truckload on the heads of sick Veterans everywhere. Over in Buyer's office, it's all fun and games.
