Buyer Never Asked The VA The Million Dollar Question by McClellanVet (created on )Gallery | Comments
The Republican minority has a lagging
past to overcome in the Veterans arena,
and even with every stroke of Lady Luck
on their side, it may not be enough
to deceive America yet one more time
to keep the Presidency out of the hands
of the Democrats.

Republicans have shown themselves
for far too long to be crippled in
quadraplegia with Disconnect, Cover-Up,
faker website posts, grandstanding
in empty news releases, and just
in general looking the other
way as Veterans took their turns
to stand before them to OUT a
bungled and malpracticed VA agency
while they all sat in a Stupor of silence.

No More!

Veterans have been burned too long,
and it is the injustices of now that
has a yellow brick road all the way
back to those days of the Republican
majority and how pleading voices
got the cold shoulder of Republicans
who were only concerned with putting
on a good face while invoking our
names as Veterans and then giving
us Bills that we didn't want or failed
to speak on our mounting crisis.

In 2005, I stood at a podium giving
my very first presentation before
the staffers of the House Veterans
Affairs Committee, with Steve Buyers
very own people sitting in a line
of chairs before me, as I spelled out
the issues of suffering and ordeal
that we were faced with in trying to
advance the chemical exposure patients
of the Fort McClellan contamination
zone to the internal powers at the
VA agency.

There they all sat, Buyers own Aide
Jeff Phillips, and Len Sistek lead
staffer of the House Oversight Subcommittee,
looking at me and taking in all the
information. They all got up and that
was that, and they were never to be
heard from again on the Fort McClellan
issue.

From 2005 until now, nobody at
the House Veterans Committee lifted
a finger to us to even include us
in a part of the process. We were
never invited to participate in any
House hearing, nor asked to deliver
any written statement for the record
on our issue. We were given a succession
of promises: one after another after another,
you know--- much the way the VA
does, and then in the final scheme of
things, Zero Zip and Nothing at all
for an outcome.

The million dollar question was never
asked of the VA: "Why can't you just
manage or supervise anything?"

The entire wheel-spinning machinery
of Capitol Hill spends all of its time
reacting to, running from, throwing
a band-aid upon, and giving press
interviews on the unending crap
factory of the VA, too often caught
up in it's very own firings and resignations
to even be aware of all the many
LAYERS of victims they are leaving
behind in the mounting heaps
of malpractice, unqualified staffing,
and VA processes that only a Moron
would dream up.

Steve Buyer never had what it took
to ask the VA point blank, "Why Oh
Why does the entire Capitol Hill
have to create and then legislate
an entire BATALLION of advisory
committees, and oversight groups
to perform the very same work that
VA managers and supervisors
are supposed to be doing who are
already on the payroll???"

This continues to be the most pressing
question by those who look inward
to the VA and find nothing but a Zoo,
nothing but chaos, nothing but charades
to nowhere, and nothing but dumb
asses filling up their days with
whining excuses!!!!

When was the last time Steve Buyer
stepped up to the plate and said:
"Hey VA, grow up and get it done
or we will have somebody in there
tomorrow who CAN!!!"

But no, all we ever got from Steve
Buyer was tomorrow's website headline
which skirted all that was wrong.
Jim Nicholson was hailed in our
faces time and time again, sometime
just within HOURS after we had
outted the next biggest scam known
to mankind at the VA that was neatly
placed on our activist agendas.

Ya have to be pretty THICK I would
say to have a women veteran stand
in front of your entire staff and give
a 10 minute rundown on the town
wide contamination zone hazards
still lurking to this very day surrounding
the entire base of Fort McClellan,
Alabama now don't ya think??
Just how many of YOU would sit
in a chair like you were watching the
latest yogurt commercial after
a presenter just finished giving you
the big picture of a hidden patient
population waiting to be identified
at the VA??

You see this has always been the
problem with the Republicans:
first hide, conceal, omit, and refuse
to speak on any of the chemical
exposure Veterans at all no matter
what contamination source they
were caught up in. This included the
unspoken on Edgewood Test Veterans.
And THEN, they would turn around and
put out faker and phoney website headlines
advancing the idea that PTSD was actually
the biggest medical population.

It was a game of deception by the
Republicans, to first not speak on one
group, and then advance the agenda of
the other group as if they were
the "lead medical population". This is
one Hell of a way to run a MEDICAL
operation, now don't ya think?

This then allowed them to "ration"
out budget money and make it all
look like the medical patients
were not suffering at all from
the relentless and unending budget
cuts that were sending VA Hospital
nurses straight into exhaustion.

Veterans had good reason to swing
over to the Democrat majority in
Congress, and now Steve Buyer
and the rest of all who he protects
at the VA agency, may very well
hear from us again for the next
presidential election in November.

Just ask yourself Steve, just how
DUMB does anybody have to be
to hear about the contamination
zone at Fort McClellan, Alabama and
then turn around and do nothing
at all about it for the Veterans
who are caught up in this crisis??

Inquiring Vet-minds want to know.
