Thousands of vets are being denied benefits in areas of medical care, service-connected disability benefits, equal access to employment with the U.S. Government, state, and county agencies due toreversed race discrimination. All vets deserve equal and fair representation by our government and elected officials. VA Regional Offices brake laws pertaing to forcing vets to drop service-connected claims and get away with it while our government caters to illegal immigrants and those from other countries of whom our government has imported.
Vets can be treated worse than second class citizens while the Talibon in Cuba have rights that are enforced. Staff at VA Hospitals can get away with mistreating vets and putting their health and lives in jeopardy since they know that they will not be held accountable for their actions. The Office of the Inspector General as well as other VA government agencies refuse to stop the abuse. Often the abuse has been promoted in order to silence a veterans complainst against the hospital staff. Copies of the vets letters proves abuse and mismanagement, but we don't have a congress nor senate that cares. They very much part of this ongoing problem. At a time, I was a member of the Republican Party, but since I have learned the difficult way that officials in my area also promote abuse of vets and retaliation, I no longer vote. However, I strongly feel that all concerned vets should voice their concerns to their senators and congressman in both parties. The Republican National Committee at rnc@gop.com. We vote and these people need to know that we we don't have justice, there will be no votes for them. We mean business and also, vets are fed up with illegal immigrants being granted benefits and free medical care when many deserving vets are shoved off on the side lines. There is strength in numbers and we need to let our voices be heard. I hope the vets who feel as I do will encourage other vets and their family members to contact their political party and senators and congressmen. We need to make veterans issues a major issue for upcoming elections. |

Please put your political postings down in the POLITCS Forum and not tie up this particular space for such topics. Thanks Sue Frasier, VEV 1970 Army Signal Corps national activist/protester staff Blogger, VFJ |

Why waste the effort emailing or calling Congress people who don't and never gave a damned in the first place. I've been doing that for decades, it didn't do any good in the past and it doesn't do any good now. All you get is a nicely worded rubber stamped signature letter that you can brag about and show around to your friends, that such and such a Congress person has expressed interest in your case. Most of them are as big thief's as those in the VA.

I agree 100% and I look forward to the day when all comes around. Elections are coming up and I hope to see many so-called elected representatives get shafted as they have shafted many vets. They are self serving scum!

ASEL, liked what you said, just keep in mind that those at the top are no more than thieves, and low life scum. What goes around, comes around, and our turn is coming up shortly, and those criminals WILL BE PUNISHED. Stealing from combat veterans, widows, & orphans is as low as one can go, and the D.C. crowd believed we would lay down and die, NOT SO !! We need to restore HONOR to this society, PERIOD
