The entire text of the VA Murder
Doc story is posted elsewhere on
this FORUM page under VA Officials
Betraying Veterans.

But as an excerpt from that compelling
news story, we enter here in our
VFJ Halls of Human Torture by the
VA system, Air Force Veteran James
DiGeorgia from Troy, New York.

James was elderly and sick when he
entered the VA Hospital in Albany,
New York. What he got next was
every medical patients nightmare
and his family to this day is
still eating the pain from it.

A VA hospital employee using fake
credentials and phoney academic
papers passing himself off as a
doctor, was staffing the VA's
Cancer Care and Research Program.

He proceded to pressure sick
patients to enter research programs
and clinical trials, and even
later on, deliberately falsified
such things as EKG reports just
to name one of the very patients
that VA Murder Doc Paul Kornak
was trying to coerce into recruitment.

Veteran James DiGeorgia is no
longer with us because of the
criminal charades of this VA
employee who is now serving
a measely 6 year prison sentence
for his deeds. If ya ever wanted
to know what the value is on the
human life of a Veteran in Albany
NY, then there is your measure
right there -- a stinking 6 years,
and YES the judge was himself an
Army veteran. Go Figure !! We've
seen it all before here in Albany
so it's old news to those of us
who live it every day.

We can only imagine the suffering
and pain that Veteran DiGeorgio
went through prior to his death
at the hands of this VA Rat Squad
which was then facilitated and
assisted by the entire New York
State law enforcement community
to boot.

The VA Murder Doc case is a call
to action for Veterans everywhere
to know just how Missing In Action
the police and prosecutors are
inside this VA system at both
the Hospital level and the Regional
claims offices as well.

Even when there is mass death
on their hands, the FBI itself
sits on their dumb asses with
nothing but Stupid all over their
faces and shuffles out a brick
wall of excuses why nobody can
do anything. Eventually the arrests
were made over their own objections,
but it took the entire news media
industry to force them into it.

Rarely do individual Vet cases
ever rise to the level of getting
news media publicity to force
either the VA or the police into
doing their jobs in the first place.

The Nuremburg Code from Nazi Germany
was argued by lawyers representing James
DiGeorgio's family at the court hearings,
to give you some idea of the torture
this man went through.

We hope by accumulating and documenting
these stories in this particular FORUM,
that Veterans and Activists will come
to see the wisdom of the Vets for Justice
national platform for advocacy. We
hope it will also shed some light
on the fact that neither PTSD nor
bums in the homeless shelters are
really any kind of a pressing priority
at all in our Veterans population,
but instead, the real issue at hand
is the utter and complete absence
of police and prosecutor authorities
to accept, receive, process, investigate,
and rule upon regular law enforcement
services to Veterans just like any
other equal member of the state
and local communities.

We enter Air Force Veteran James
DiGeorgia into this hall of sadness
and shame, but his life was not
in vain nor was his passing. He
leaves behind those of us who
can remember and still carry his
story as the poster boy outcry
for Justice to all Veterans everywhere
hopelessly trapped inside this
stinking VA system.

I am very sorry about your dad's suffering and imjustice that he had been faced with. The VA is stabbing many veterans in the back and unfortunately the color of a veterans skin plays a major role in how vets are to be treated. I have learned the hard way that there is no justice for abused vets. All offices of the VA promote abuse ande neglect of vets at VA Hospitals and the Office of the Inspector General is one of the very worst.

The McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, Virginia is well known for abusing vets and those who have tried to expose them are forever paying the very high price for attempting to exercise their earned rights. The minorities are treated with the respect that they are forever demanding and many white vets cannot even get appointments due to clinics being filled with minority patients. The Hospital staff cover up abuse and mismanagement when a local TV station makes an effort to do a story on them and then that's the end of it.

I had written President Bush numerous letters begging him for help due to abuse, retaliation, harassment, sexual harassment, intimidatin, and having to beg for medical care. I had received one response from him stating, "We living in changing times and there isn't anything else I can do for you." He had done nothing in the first place.

I had contacted the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs and had been told that they no longer handle individual cases. Their attitude was exactly as expected. They should come out and be honest and say, " We only handle cases for blacks and other minorities."
It's going to be a very sad and dark affair if Obama is nominated. The reversed race discrimination that is policy now will grow beyond what vets could ever expect. Your father believed in his country and served with great honor and should have been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. We all need to continue our fight for humane treatment, equal rights under the law, and justice.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that other than my dad's name being misspelled a couple of times your article hit to the heart of the matter.

Torture- you have no idea. The last days of dad's life was so horrible that it has haunted me and will to haunt me forever. Whatever type of justice is and will be served will not be enough. It will be 7 years the 11th of June but it feels like yesterday.

My advice to anyone going through treatment is to verify your doctors credentials. Do not trust the system. Dad did---I loved my dad so much and I was heart broken with his diagnosis, but that did not compare to watching him die like he did.

Of course I emailed president Busch on this matter and received no response. Our veterans put lives on the line everyday, they need to feel safe at home. June with dad's death, father's day and dad's birthday the 23rd is a month I dread every year. Be safe and I thank every veteran past and current for all you have done for us. Keep dad in your minds, he died a horrible death, but he died a hero. Congress finally acted on hiring practices. It came to late for dad, but may help someone else. Take Care, be safe, Mary
