There are countless means of abuse and punishment that is forced upon any vet that would dare complaint of being abused at the McGuire VAMC, Richmond. This subject alone would make a great story for the public to read about and how our upstanding elected officials turn their backs on veterans.

Feeding a vet bisquits with bacon egg, and cheese for dinner that has laid around for several days and is hard as a rock isn't a problem. With such a meal is serving the vet grape juice that has to be at least a year old with a sickening flavor. How about spoiled raw liver fopr dinner? That's what is on the menu at the McGuire VAMC in Richmond for vets who are forever locked in retaliation. The rest of the torture stories are much too long to bring up. This is just one that happened to me last summer when I had been told that I had meningitis and had been placed in isolation. The room temperature had been turned up very high while I could not sleep or get anyone to turn it down. I didn't have my glasses with me, so I couldn't turn the heat down.Nurses would tell me that the thermostat was controlled down stairs. That was false. Just part of my meal, I'm cartain. I couldn't complain to a patient advoate since the coward abusive administrative staff have ordered that I am to be refused medical care earlier and that I not be represented by the patient advocate. My skin was the wrong color since she is Afro-American. It's business as usual. The Offiice of the Inspector General refuses to help and they promote the abuse.

Often medical staff will not report my complaints of medical problems and will file false reports that surely mat take away my benefits. The congressmen in my district goes along with the hospital since he is minority oriented.This is how it is and I will speak out more often on such issues.
