I have completed 2 trips to Washington
DC both in September and October with
most of the work done on the Fort McClellan
veterans legislation.

Detailed reports will be filed in the
Forums above on that.

No trip is planned for November as the
session has now ended for this year
and there are too many holidays and
recesses for this month to get anything
done.

I am told by the local TV reporter that
the Part 2 and Part 3 of my TV interview
segment will go on the air November 10
and 11 on Veterans Day. LINKs will be
available thereafter the same as Part 1
was when that aired.

I may begin a new legislative effort
in January to write and move through the
system a new Rules of Evidence statute
for veterans claims. I already know what
has to be in it to unleash much of the
claims backlog right now, but there is
a question of which committee wants to
work on such a project. I'll be exploring
that further during my December trip.
