A small pile of crucial documents have
been recovered for the Fort McClellan
legislation from the National Archives
in Maryland. 2 full days of records
pulls were done, and 3 never before
seen film reels are in the process of
being duplicated for public viewing
in about 4 to 6 weeks. We are talking
to the Fort Lee museum and 14th Band
people to coordinate the availability
of the films after I receive them
some time next month.

A full 1971 dated engineering map
of Fort McClellan was obtained showing
all of the original street names and
building numbers intact during the years
federal troops were stationed there,
along with several pages of a building
inventory list to match with the map
showing the buildings by function.
Other Cadre and orderly room statistics
reports were recorded for population
development later on by GAO.
