3 films from Fort McClellan Alabama, all
taken at the WAC Training Battallion have been successfully copied and retrieved and shipped to Alabama for review by the elders there who are the gatekeepers of the WAC legacy. 2 reels are of the retirement ceremony for Col. Hoisington and 1 reel was a demonstration collection of both training segments and graduation for the C-J's program, College Junior Womens program which was a likeness to the frontrunner of ROTC at the base for women. The official Army medical statistics records from Noble Army Hospital at Fort McClellan have been found ranging from 1969 to 1980. These are patient headcount reports of medical care, categorized by Clinics and including the Anniston Army Depot Troops, for the Hospital activity at Fort McClellan. Crucial excerpts were copied and delivered to the House Veterans Affairs Committee by hand and in person where they hastily made their own copies while I completed my meetings. I am tied up briefly at this point in issuing the summary descriptions for each report so they can do the translation on what they are holding now down in Washington. More is to come in our Fort McClelan FORUM report on the successes of this trip, after I get myself reorganized here at home again and catch up on my backlog.
