I have located the Human Rights
Declaration issued some time ago which the United Nations claims to rotate around as their universe. It is interesting to look at because the troops and Veterans would seem to fit in quiet well as Victims needing humanitarian aid under this charter. You decide. http://www.un.org/Overview/rights.html Where the failures occur in such a charter is there is no designated PROCESS to invoke in the face of breaches. A charter without a justice process is no charter at all. The same can be said about the VA's Patient Rights statute under 38 CFR Part 17.33. There is NO process of law for Veterans to invoke in the face of breaches. The statute directs Veterans to "report" their breaches to the VA "Patient Advocate" who in all cases that we could find around the country, are NOT legal people but instead, LunkHeads and Morons who know nothing, suspect nothing, write nothing, and don't even know what to say - nothing. Get it ?? VSO's seriously dropped the ball on this one. A Patient Rights charter with no justice process is no Patient Rights charter at all. Get it ?? Veterans have to understand basic fundamentals and schemes of trickery in legislation --- that to "announce" a declaration of rights is tantamount to meaningless and blowing your nose into a microphone if that declaration is not somehow tied (clearly and visibly) to a law process for breaches. Veterans are also reminded they can use medical material from the World Health Organization to formulate their claims on certain conditions. www.who.int Perhaps U.S. troops can go to the U.N. and file for humanitarian relief for their ridiculous and torturous rotating tours of duty or redeployments after being clearly diagnosed with PTSD and TBI or other medical matters from their first deployment. While President Bush has repeatedly said that the Administration does NOT torture prisoners at Guantanamo, they sure have no problem with it at all in torturing U.S. Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
