It's impossible to turn
on your TV now without
your brain being Nuked
with non-stop and relentless
pity stories around the
world. Earthquakes,
hurricanes, terrorists,
immigrants, disease.
It's all too much.

There is, in fact, so much
going on that it behooves
all of us to stop and
rationalize the whole thing
further, to see if it makes
sense to adopt a new federal
law called the Citizens
First Doctrine
which in
effect would mandatorily
require all government
officials to provide for the
substantial need of the U.S.
citizens FIRST before handing
out other emergency relief
budgets or World Aid as we
know it to other foreign
destinations.

Consider this: the governor
of New York handed over some
$22 million dollars to the
relief effort of New Orleans.
But now, in the aftermath
of the disaster, the winter
fuel prices in the north
country have doubled, and
the Low Income Energy Assistance
Program does NOT plan to make
any increase adjustments to
poor Veterans using the program
to absorb the flux caused by
the very state that we gave
all of our money to. DUH !!

Granted this doesn't happen
very often, but with all that
is happening in the world today,
this has the potential for
frequency and mission-creep.

We have yet to bail out our
own people in 2 states in the
South, and now here we are
shipping out relief to Pakastan
and Afghanistan for earthquake
relief. What to do?

A Citizens First statute
would establish an economic
math formula and safety-valve
for the courts, the legislature,
and the executive branch agencies
to use, to compute out in
forecasting models the upcoming
needs of current U.S. citizens
to absorb unexpected fluxes of
basic necessities such as
food, medical, housing, energy,
and clothing. After the universal
program adjustments are in place
to provide for the Citizens
First
, only then could a
recomputed amount for world
or domestic relief be identified
and released for good will
pursuits. You can be sure
that nobody is doing this right
now.

The ATT Wire Service today has
issued an article quoting Low
Income Energy Assistance officials
as saying that low income people
will be forced to choose between
heat in their homes, or food
or medicine this winter. This
does not bode well after seeing
the governor of New York give
all of our money away to New
Orleans. What good is emergency
relief if it causes poverty
or substandard conditions
to the people living here?

This whole concept of Citizens
First
may also force a more
isolationist stance by the U.S.
on world affairs matters, but one
thing is for certain, it will stop
giving the United Nations and
their subversive non-governmental
organizations (NGO) a blank check
from the U.S. Treasury over every
little nationbuilding project whim
that comes flying in through their
doors. Enough already !

We are already being terrorized
over the Social Security debate
and the nuclear meltdown of
VA benefits for those who are
rightfully eligible. To aggravate
the economy situation with some
blowhard who wants to give all
our money away for some upcoming
election agenda is something
that we need to start planning
ahead for.

It's becoming apparent that
the U.S. wealth is out there
for the grand-drainoff if
something isn't done to safeguard
it from the army of Tweedle-Dees
who make a relentless pursuit
of elected office. The
sorrowful, tragic, and
overwhelming matters which are
emerging in world affairs
outside of our borders are
slowly sucking us into certain
financial collapse here at home.

Then there is the bungling,
malpracticed, and incompetent
court system who is all too
glad to misinterpret our
law rulings so that a
statute for US, eventually
becomes a statute for
everybody ---- even for
those who aren't citizens
here.

Under the original design
of the Social Security disability
laws, nobody ever contemplated
that chronic, career drug
users would be deemed as
legitimate "disability" cases
nor would the voluntarily
obese. And how about the
illegal immigrant who crosses
Mexican borders pregnant and
then has the baby here only
to have the kid qualify for
welfare assistance? How
much more can that mistake
go on before somebody wakes
up and says "Hey, that ruling
sucks!"

This country is steering
in a direction where it has
to learn to just say "NO"
and walk away, or to lose
what we have as a way of
life altogether. It would
never be too early for
Congress to start the
preliminary drafts and
debates for a new and
sweeping Citizens First
Statute.

Of course if we continue
to get more of the same
bungling and useless
nonresponsive, nonanticipatory
lack of action that we have
BEEN getting from Congress,
maybe we will just wake
up one morning with a
panicky headline topping
the news that the U.S.
Treasury has just filed
for bankruptcy and Tim
Russert of Meet The Press
wants to know if there are
any plans to draft an
emergency bailout statute
called Citizens First !!
