The State of the Union address was
given out this week, the last of
it's kind under George Bush, and not
a minute too soon either.

He announced a whopping $30 BILLION
to go to the country of Africa, for
AIDS health relief. This apparently
advanced by some of the Black Communists
such as Rep. Corrine Brown, and Rep.
Charles Wrangle who is himself an
Army veteran, who are more fixated and
mentally obsessed with the days gone
by of slavery instead of the compelling
budget issues of their own birthright
home right here in America.

Yes,Veterans, that DOES
add up to $6 BILLION a year, for a straight
5 years !!!
For people who
do NOT even live here in this country!

As a note of record, on the very next
day AFTER the State of the Union Address,
the Food And Drug Administration held
a public hearing topping the evening
network TV news, where the employees
testified they were understaffed,
overworked, and the entire FDA oversight
system for public safety is completely
broken beyond repair (does THIS sound
familiar??).

I am knowing already our reader population
on this Internet is up in arms over this,
and it behooves us to raise a Blog on
the issue.

Here is what Senator Patty Murray of
the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee
had to say at the end of the speech.
I hope it brings you comfort. You
can steer your protests to her.

Reaction to State of the Union Address, Murray Urges Bush to Put America First

For Immediate Release: Monday, January 28, 2008

"Tonight, in his final State of the Union address, President Bush gave Americans more of the same.

"At a time when we need to be creating jobs and investing in infrastructure, the President called for tax cuts. At a time when American families are struggling here at home, the President asked for yet more patience and investment in a misguided foreign policy.

"It is time for a change. And it is time to put America first.

"The lofty rhetoric of a State of the Union address won't create jobs and soundbites aren't an investment in our future. The true test will come in the budget the President sends to Congress next week.

"For seven years we've seen cuts to housing, transportation, health care and worker training. And seven years later our nation is struggling. The outcome of the President's failed policies could not be more stark.

"As Congress works through critical issues like stimulus, healthcare, energy and education, the American people want change.

"I hope that in the coming weeks – through his budget and policies – that the President shows he is finally listening."
