Don't even bother trying to figure
out where this Moron is headed with
this buffoonish entry on the www.va.gov
website. As if those of us who are
trapped in claims are supposed to
be dazzled by this Nonsense to Nowhere!

I don't even see this as a valid
role for the VA Secretary to be
wasting his time on.

START of VA.gov release

VA Hosts Veterans Affairs Ministers

VA Secretary James B. Peake hosted his counterparts from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom on April 30 – May 1, for their annual meeting to exchange information and develop solutions to shared veterans issues. On April 30, the group placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery. Pictured at the wreath laying are, from left to right, New Zealand Minister of Veterans’ Affairs Rick Barker, Canadian Minister of Veterans Affairs Greg Thompson and Secretary Peake.

End of official VA.Gov release

This really does embody what the problems
are inside the VA agency. When "other Veterans"
get appointed into jobs there, they all take
on this BlowHard identity and they seem
to think it's all about THEM !!

President Bush has been playing Political Musicial Chairs with the VA Secretary Job, using it as a "Political Pay Off" for supporters who donate enough.

And Congress has been letting him do this, hell that's how Washington works.

There was Secretary Nicholson, former head of the Colorado Republican Party, and later Chairman of the National Republican Party.

His first political payoff was appointment as Ambassador to the Pope, a gravy job with lots of "benefits", and then as Secretary of the VA when he funneled millions of VA dollars to Republican Corporations, such as QTC.

Then Secretary Principal the Chairman of QTC that was getting rich ripping off Veterans with "extremely conservative" disability exams.

If you were 100% disabled you could expect about a 30% rating from QTC.

After funneling millions and millions of VA dollars to QTC Secretary Principal went BACK to QTC and a member of the Board of Directors of QTC, James B. Peake, became Secretary of the VA.

Now Secretary Peake is continuing the ongoing policy of the VA to screw Veterans as he funnels millions, and millions of VA dollars to his former company, QTC.

Are they any kind of ETICS here?

Can anyone spell CONFLICT OF INTEREST?

How can a Republican Owned Company doing business with the VA constantly be in charge of the VA?

Is it a little easier to see why Veterans are being screwed?

It's all a Political Musicial Chair Con Game. I will bet any amount of money Secretary Peake will leave the VA and go back to QTC where he will be greatly rewarded for stealing our tax dollars.

I agree with much of what you say. But
then this is to suggest that the Democrats
do something different, when they don't.
There are only 2 political parties dominating
government in Washington, and if it isn't
one then it certainly is the other. And
I have seen a mess just about everywhere
I have looked. F.Y.I. Big Grin

Come to New York if ya think Democrats
are so dam hot. They top the news at
6pm every night, usually in handcuffs.

The entire VA system is one big mess and as long as the Secretary of Veterans Affairs tells the public that the VA is doing a fine job with the vets, all is well. I wonder what kind of a fool we'll have for the secretary this time around.
