The private physicians in and surrounding the region of Albany, New York have apparently organized themselves to no longer give out appointments for the purpose of SCC claims or related testimony thereof so that Veterans can receive their VA benefits.

Having tried over a 3 year period, most doctors would not even answer a form letter inquiry that I sent out, none would answer my phone calls, and only 2 scratched a handwritten note on my inquiry letter. Getting a private physician in the Albany area to examine and then verify on the veterans behalf any issue regarding SCC claims is nearly impossible. This leaves veterans at the mercy of either Comp & Pen doctors who are hired by political contracts to represent the VA, or to use the existing VAMC file entries and take your chances in submitting it to VARO.

Generally, VARO will find ways to rewrite the
VAMC papers into something else when it comes time to adjudicate SCC claims.

It is believed that private physicians have stopped doing the Veterans verifying exams because of the skyrocketing malpractice insurance and the fact that the Veteran is not a long term patient where the Doc can make money on the deal. A one-time shot for an exam is not what their offices are set up for.

Question: are we all doomed to die in this
thing ??

No we're not doomed to die because there are enough of us to continue the fight. We just have keep ourselves in prayer and pray for one another. I know it seems as though we're going to die in this battle but we must continue to have faith that this evil we're up against, we will conquer pulling for one another!
