I have been following up with Keith Olbermann from MSNBC. He used the analogy of a prostitute… you sell what ever to the highest bidder when referring to or country leaders. I tend to agree with that statement for many of them. It is so amazing that many of them are so bold with selling themselves. I did not have the glamour or the money for my California leaders to be concerned about me. I joined the Military when your medical, dental and education were free and now everything has been taken away. Now our leaders point and send you to fight and die for greed.

I am a retired US Army soldier who served in the first Gulf War. I would mind you that being a former soldier I do understand and I have followed the rules concerning the “Chain of Command”. I have followed every step and all I have received is nothing but grief. I served twenty years in the military and at no time did I forgo my duties and responsibilities not only to serve my country in peace but also in war. I was willing to lay down my life in the service of others. I proved that when I was deployed with my unit during the first Gulf war. I would like to be brief as possible but I want to ensure that you have all the related facts and show you that I would never compromised my integrity to receive something that is not rightfully mine.

In short I was approved for veteran benefits and as I was finishing my school courses I was told that my benefits were denied. Because of a court case that basically says that the Veterans Administration can make an error and the bottom line they do not have to be accountable for there actions. The problem here is the school and I was continually misled and was told that the problem could be taken care of. So I continued to finish my schooling up the point of taking my tests and certification.

The school and I were so assured that the matter would be taken care of that the school gave me a letter of completion. With that letter and assurances from the VA I use that letter to receive a Masters in Biblical Studies and I was working on a Doctorate in Biblical Studies. I owned my own company before I went to school and my mission was to get the degree and all the certifications that accompanied that degree so I would be able to perform all the required duties in the field of Computer System Engineer.

I was allowed to accelerate my classes and use the labs and all the school resources. To continue my business and or get employment in my field I had to have certification in all the areas that I serviced. Having a degree in that field with out certification means nothing. Please understand that I do not at this time have a Bachelor Degree because I was misinformed by the VA so my Masters and Doctorate degrees have been negated. With that I went on a letter writing spree to no avail.

There is a new GI Bill that has come out and I feel it is my duty is to get the word out and that word is to beware!!! I believe that it is very important to take care of the ones who in turn take care of you. Even though the war that our son’s and daughter’s are now fighting and dyeing is because of a former president’s greed. Even so we must still take care of our soldiers. For all of those who will use the GI Bill I will pass on a warning. “BEWARE”. The Veterans Administration has the ability and the freedom to; as they say misinform (Lie) to you. They use the term “erroneous information” and if you every get a letter from them with those words prepare to lose everything you own.

The VA has what is called sovereign immunity and they will bring to bear any pain and suffering to you and your family without any remorse. Twenty years of my life I gave to this country and the VA has completely destroyed my life. My family my friends my property are no more. Even my own mother has abandoned me. For those who are in the military and for those who are contemplating the military; it is an honor and privilege to serve this great country and I know that most people love you for it. But, just remember the VA organization is almost big as a terrorist country and they will show no mercy to you or your family. If you think that your Senators or Congressmen will help you well think again. The VA has committed perjury even while addressing congress on many occasions and nothing has been done. If you ever receive a letter from the Veterans Administration the have the words “erroneous information” anywhere in the body of the letter go grab your children and hold them tight then prepare yourself to let them go. PS: I wrote in a forum on Military.com and the site administrator said and I quote… Dear 5174672, “The site administrators have removed your access rights: You are suspended for posting off-topic and meaningless posts. You failed to say in your posts or your web page what the VA has done wrong. You seem to have no idea how our government works, the members of Congress do not report to the President. This suspension is indefinite.” He is right about one thing they don’t report to the President… They report to, well let us use the analogy of the prostitute.

OBAMA WELCOMES NEW G.I. BILL

The VA asks for "flexibility and forbearance" as veterans wonder how they are going to pay their bills.

The University of Maryland is predicting delays of up to 10-weeks in receiving payments for the New G.I. Bill. And, this would mean the same delays for veterans who need the money to survive.

Rep. Steve Buyer (R-IN), Ranking Member on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, was steaming mad about this report, and said in a press release:

“I am deeply concerned that these egregious errors may seriously jeopardize timely delivery of the Post 9/11 GI Bill program,” Buyer said. “I want assurance that VA is prepared to handle the thousands of claims it will receive for education benefits. VA must take immediate action to get the contracting mess with SPAWAR straightened out.”

The Department of Veterans Affairs said it has already hired another 760 people to deal with all the new claims.

I feel the pain for at least half of those veterans because those claims that they submitted in good faith will be denied months latter and after the fact because of what the VA calls “erroneous information”. These veterans are going to suffer at the hands of the Veterans Administration and they will have no mercy shown to them. Been there and done that. If you think that your elected officials will help you the odds are one out fifty thousand might get some type of help.

Those 760 people where did they come from? A good chance off the streets and they were given a computer and told to just press enter twenty times and approve everyone. That is all the training they will get. On the back end of all of this is when the VA sends the “erroneous information” letter because they made a mistake that it will take from seven to ten years to fix the problem and you will still lose. By that time you have lost your family and friends, your house and your car. You will be if you are still alive homeless and have medical problems if you don’t have them already.

My warning to you is to say a long prayer with the ones that you love and hug them tight before you go to bed because dealing with the VA can be your undoing. On the other hand I will offer my prayers in advance and hope that things go smoothly and you call me crazy in the end.
