I have a Vietnam vet who has been fighting for service connection for 20+ years; his case is now at the VBA in Washington; it has been there for the past 7 months.

We call monthly to check on status of the case, and we are always told, "the paperwork is setting here; the judge has'nt picked it up yet."

My question is how long does it take; for someone to come pick up something?

Well mine took a little over a year and a half and then it was denied.

What ever happened to the law that every case is supposed to be done with in a years time, when I applied for disability when it came to 1 year and a week I called washington and spoke to a person and in 2o minutes I had my answer.
