One of the more perplexing
non-profit fraud schemes
that seems to escape the
eye of every oversight
agency in the country is
the American Civil Liberties
Union.

If you were to stack a
pile of evidence to show
what they say they do,
next to another pile
of what they actually do,
anybody with a high
school education could
easily figure out there
is no match.

There happens to be a
franchise office here
in Albany, NY and I
have a few things to
say about it.

It's a fraud.
Let's start with that.

Show me one thing that
this operation does that
would qualify under the
word "charitable" ? Has
anybody figured out why
they are tax exempt?

Or how about this....
Show me one thing that
ACLU has ever done to
advance the human rights
of U.S. Veterans?? Now
THERE'S a loaded
question!!

Melanie Trimbell is the
Executive Director of the
Albany franchise, cutsy
titled the "New York Civil
Liberties Union".

It was found after several
attempts of chasing and
confronting the New York
Bar Association about not
providing Veterans with
ready access to licensed
lawyers for SCC claims, that
the Bar would dead-end a
referral to people like me
by sending us to NYCLU.

Upon confronting this useless
office of just a handful of
people, here lies the nations
excuse factory which has
the word "No" in it more
times than a Capitol One
TV commercial.

The NYCLU provides no direct
services to veterans or the
poor. No attornies are provided
and no court representation
is made for cases in need
which fall outsides the
bizarre limits of the Legal
Aid Society.

There is no forms procedure
to make application to them
to review your case, and they
have no policy for people
needing legal representation
to come into. There is no
processing. They have no
services and do nothing at
all other than to occupy
their offices on a daily basis.

Melanie herself appears on a
TV program about once a year
just enough to say that she
gives news interviews, and
this is always a "reaction"
interview and never because
she has actually done anything
meaningful in any Albany court.

In short, she is little more
than a political pundit. Give
me a BREAK!

In one confrontational
conversation that I had with
her, I was able to make her
slip and give herself away
by vaguely eluding to their
organizational relationship
to Amnesty International. You
know, this off-the-wall place
that allegedly advocates world
human rights.

Don't get me wrong, I like
human rights too.

H-m-m-m-m, I said to myself.
Could it be that the little dear
is suggesting to me that
because Amnesty International
is involved in clearing the old
landmine fields in foreign countries
etc. that somehow in their
pea-sized legal brains they
have decided along the way that
U.S. Veterans ought to be
themselves deprived human rights?

In order to fully understand
just how nuts Amnesty Intl.
is, you pretty much have to
go to their website and
get a load of what their
messages are. They basically
oppose law and order, and
it pretty much ends there.

They have these big scary
headlines on their home page
(use Google to go there) such
as "Thousands of Children
Locked Away for Life in U.S.".
Then when you get into the
main article where the more
elaborate description is and
find what they REALY mean is
that child murderers under the
age of 18 are given life
without parole in the U.S..
Well, so what?

Murder before the age of 18
is a HUGE red flag that
the kid is damaged goods.
We have never really seen
it before en masse like we
are seeing it now. If your
first crime out of the gate
is murder, then HELLO get
that kid institutionalized
in a LARGE way because we
don't need more Charles
Mansons running around now
do we? DUH!

The truth is that the Civil
Liberties Union wants nothing
to do with Veterans or their
legal causes. In fact, they
stand for nothing that is
truly American. Basically they
oppose all law and order.

Whenever you see a rare headline
on the ACLU, it's usually them
fighting a court case (who knows
how THAT happened) to let people
with AIDS come into the country
as foreign immigrants or some
other ridiculous nutfarm concept
which is aimed at subversion of
our quality of life altogether.

we can only sit around and wonder
whether or not ACLU and Amnesty
International are actually
Communist Front Organizations.
If you can show or tell me anything
that ACLU does which is pro-American
then I'm all ears! I haven't
seen it as of yet.

Any Treasury Investigator would
not have to work very hard to
expose the fact that the
ACLU is NOT a "charitable"
organization but a phoney,
baloney, fraud scheme to
get out of paying U.S. taxes
while at the same time,
willfully and deliberately
discriminating against U.S.
military veterans in their
scope of services (if you
can find any).

Disabled Veterans are covered
under the Americans With
Disabilities Act under
42 USCA 12132, and are
entitled to Equal Services by
any public entity no matter
who. So what it is about
this, exactly, that the
"American" Civil Liberties
Union doesn't understand?

But backing up to how I got
there to begin with via the
New York State Bar Association,
I can only wonder how THAT
connection ever happened.
You see, the State Bar here
does not service the entire
city of Albany as a region.
Go Figure! But like a broken
record, and in a repeated
way, when pressing for pro
bono lawyer assistance, the
only referral that I could
ever shake down out of the
Bar was the ACLU Office or
Eeny And Meeny Incorporated
as I like to call them.

Show me where the issues,
needs, and advocacy matters
of American Veterans are being
served at any time, place,
or docket by the American
Civil Liberties Union. Can't
find it? Oh, me neither.

I know exactly what your talking about Sue; I have been there also. This is not the only federal organization, that does not do what it claims to do. Get this, the (EEOC) EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION violated my civil rights, and I have yet to get justice; this website is the best thing since apple pie because it allows veterans to share their stories of wrong doings, and then you can take action by signing petitions, and standing together. Thanks for your story.
