Well it was hard to turn on
the TV news today without seeing the lead story about the New York Times blasting out all kinds of national security leaks from the Bush Administration in its Sunday edition over the weekend. It's hard to know when anyone tied to Bush, let alone Bush himself ever tells the truth on any given day, but if we are to believe what the relentless scoldings against the New York Times were all about today, it seems that the Times is in deep trouble for divulging highly sensitive classified information which could, in theory, undermine both the U.S. diplomacy efforts as well as plans by the troops themselves in Iraq. It is worth noting that the New York news media is NOT legitimate by any stretch of the imagination. They are predominately Communist hacks who are never satisfied about ANYTHING in this country no matter what, and they make a wealthy profit on spinning their useless wheels either on subjects that nobody cares about OR subjects which should not even be going out for public viewing. If the government takes no action, such as the events leading to the World Trade Center, then the government is a villan. If the government does take action, such as Iraq or Afghanistan, then the government is a villan. Ya see, here in New York state, there is no way to make the Communist editors shut up and sit down. You will notice that it's the New York news media who spends all of their time whining about bringing the troops home, when in fact, the troops themselves are not really organizing and making any noise to that effect. The grumbling from the troops lands squarely on the injustices of THIS government on their enlistment terms, their in-country length of time, their short supplies, their crapped out VA benefits, and more recently, the strains of their personal identity information being lost by the VA. Nowhere is any of this in the news let alone the New York Times. The troops themselves are NOT saying that they should leave the war because the Iraq citizens are not really being helped. This perception is exclusively peddled by the New York Times and it's media cronies who so very dominate the paper and TV industry. So let's all get real and sort this out that New York Times is creating their own baloney news, instead of reporting it the way that it really is. The news media in New York, The Times included, are tied directly to political parties. And the New York Times, let me remind you, is in Hilary Clinton's Senate district. So let's get real about what the New York Times is up to in these classified information leaks once and for all. The REAL question on this latest New York Times step into the Bush classified information mudhole is: "At What Point Does The New York Times Get PROSECUTED For Publishing Classified Information???" How far are they allowed to go and jeapordize actions of the troops before the Justice Department finally slaps their sorry Communist news-Nazi boneheads with a federal Summons for breaching national security ?? While some can argue that the blame lies with the internal leakers with the government, I say --- Hey, start prosecuting the newspapers and be done with it. Yank their sorry passes as "embedded reporters" and send every one of them with that newspaper HOME without further explanation. Yes it's the proverbial Article 15 for YOU New York Times and here are your bags a packing !! Newspapers think that Freedom Of Speech only applies to them and they alone and as the corporate citizen have some kind of "right" to jeapordizing government action. But lo and behold, the national security laws are very exacting on the federal law books, and the statutes use such careful language as "Whoever" breaches the law ---- yes, New York Times that means YOU the "whoever". George Bush should find the stones to mobilize the Justice Department and start figuring out how to shut down the New York Times, and the rest of its sister Monkey Squad newspapers up here in the north country because as someone who lives in their midst, not ONE of them is worth the paper they are printed on. _________________ *** UPDATE *** _________________ Since this article was first posted, the HOUSE has PASSED a resolution Bill condemning the news media for publishing sensitive information on government programs which are considered to be operational to the war on terror. The vote was passed 227 to 183. This message has been edited. Last edited by: McClellanVet, Sue Frasier, VEV 1970 Army Signal Corps national activist/protester staff Blogger, VFJ |
