If you have been watching the
TV news recently then you have
heard about the "Page Six"
scandal which is looming over
the New York Post these days.

With the FBI involved to look
over secret video tapes, the
story is about the Post's
gossip columnist allegedly
threatening a billionaire
to stop writing malicious
gossip about the guy in his
Page Six column, in exchange
for a bribe of some kind,
be it money or whatever.

Lookers can follow the story
at: http://www.nypost.com
and also at their rival NYC
newspaper the Daily News:
http://www.nydailynews.com
or you can retrieve national
press on the scandal at
Google.com

This story is an "outting" of
sorts on a couple of different
fronts.

What the papers won't say is
these are 2 Jews who are doing the
fighting, and on another
level, it's also an inside look
at how the newspaper business
REALLY works here in
New York. I've tried to tell
people this for many years and
now the Post has a scandal
that puts it right out there in
the open.

The newspapers are a kind of
mafia [using Jared Paul Stern's
own words ] at least in the
mental department as it goes,
whereby they first perpetrate
and then hold out their hands
for the goods to make it all
better. Badda-Bing!

If you think about it, the
D.C. Snipers did the same
thing ---- first perpetrate
a scheme, then hold out their
hand for money to stop the
scheme.

But wait a minute..... if
you think about it again....
this is what the VA does
to Veterans!!! First perpetrate
a scheme, then hold their
hands out for an enrollment
fee to make the scheme go
away! But I digress.

The newspapers are more often
than not tied directly to
political parties, and the
way to know that is to watch
around election time and you
will see them put it out in
the open that the newspaper
"endorses" a
certain election candidate.
Whatever THAT means !!!
Eek Confused Roll Eyes Eek
Does anybody really know what
it means, exactly, for a newspaper
to "endorse" an election candidate?

Veterans are incredibly nai've
on this point about the news
media, and this is part of why
those of us who are outside
the modern day "formula story"
of troops getting off the plane
and returning home from war, are
unable to get any press coverage
whatsoever on stories which
are, by all standards, 10 times
more gripping than the mush
we all have to sit through in
our living rooms each night.

There is no such thing as free press
so I may as well drop that bomb
on all of you right here and now.
Your perceptions of how the news
media works, are total and complete
fiction. It doesn't exist.

Newspapers would not stay in
business even 30 days unless
they were tied to political parties
who are in turn tied to elected
office.

The people who make the news
are also tied to the same political
parties, Cindy Sheehan being a
good example.

Consider the fact that Eliot
Spitzer, the worlds laziest
and incompetent Attorney General
on the planet, is now running
for Governor of New York, and
his entire TV advertising campaign
is an endless chain of Times
Union phoney stories about him
which was contrived one headline
at at time for that very purpose.
Those of us who live in Albany
and know all about Eliot Spitzer's
AWOL and incompetency as the
state's Attorney General, now
have to sit through the fake
and phoney efforts by the Times
Union to make him appear as
if he really has a brain so that
yet another fool can take office
and lead us all down the road
of DOOM one more time.

So when Veterans want to blow
the proverbial whistle on the
VA corruption in the newspapers,
and all the other things which
eventually make the news anyway
while we all stand by helplessly
and say "I told ya so!", you can
then understand why none of us
Vets can get a fair break in the
press.

Veterans would do well to follow
the breaking reporter scandal
at the New York Post involving
Jared Paul Stern and billionaire
Ron Burkle because it will set
the record straight on how news
actually gets done [ or gets
blocked out, take your pick ]
and only then will Veterans have
a good understanding what the
REAL problem is in accessing the
news media for a REAL news story.

In the meantime, the 2 Tweedle
Dee Jews in New York City will grab
all headlines, and all of OUR
mountains of breaking news stories
on the VA will just have to wait.
