As reported on NBC News, somebody's
grandfather died and the grandchildren
found some World War II film reels
in the attic and took it to the Library
of Congress.

The film runs a little over 16 minutes
and was shot in Europe just days
before D-Day. Some town seens, and
an inside look to how the troops
were outfitted, and air and ground
bombing raids.

This is like a window back into time
for sure and it's incredible that
we have such precious film to reconnect
with our fathers and grandfathers.

It's recommended that you look at this
fast before NBC takes it off their
website in story rotation.
