Well as many of you have already
seen over the weekend, Rev. Jesse
Jackson of the Democrat Party has
held what he considers to be the
first of more yet to come anti-war
rallies in Washington.

We can only wonder when it's going
to be that Rev. Jackson finally figures
out that these rallies do absolutely
nothing at all in downtown Washington
other than to boost restroom traffic
and restaurant traffic for the downtown
eateries.

We can also wonder when it's going
to be that the Associated Press
starts to figure out that both
Rev. Jackson and his Motor Mouth
partner, Rev. Al Sharpton conduct
rallies and marches as a "cottage
industry", and that reporting on
repeatitious "process" is really
not news at all?

Just ask us the Veterans because
that is the lame and sorry story
that we get from the news media
all the time. Or could it be that
the Associated Press actually practices,
dare I say it, Discrimination?

Is there really such a thing as "equal access to news coverage", and
if not, why not?
Are U.S.
military troops and national post-service
Veterans actually discriminated against
and locked out of Associated Press
news? This is a fair question to know.

If we have truly been lied to by
the news media, that repitition of
process is really a valid headline
worthy of their cameras, then perhaps
the Associated Press would like to
report on all the Advocates and
Veterans who travelled to Washington
to expose the horrors and corruption
inside the VA agency to the Veterans
Disability Commission? Show me
one single time that the Associated
Press was there to cover us!
They were MIA.

Or how about the all-out missing
Associated Press when it came to
covering the REAL news when hundreds
of women Army Veterans from Fort McClellan
Alabama were shuttling themselves
from one address to another throughout
Washington trying to find somebody
with a brain to come and help us in
our pursuits for medical justice?
Again they were MIA.

The truth is, the same people
in a very repititious and boring
kind of way, do access the Associated
Press, time and time again, year
in and year out, for the same
news, different day either from
Jackson or Sharpton. At the same
time, the same other group
namely the Veterans are repititiously
locked out of all access to
news coverage and having their
stories told.

H-m-m-m-m, YUP it really
does sound like a touch of Hanoi, now
doesn't it?

Even more stunning is their news
is not exactly even TRUE at
times, but like the Robo-Press
Parrot Head that the Associated
Press really is, it never really
seems to occur to the AP reporters
that at times, truth really does
count in a story.

Consider a nonsense march that
Sharpton and Jackson tried to
hold in the past year down in
New Orleans. As soon as AP cameras
were put onto these 2 Do-Do's to
nowhere, here it comes out of
Al Sharpton's stupid mouth that the
United States government actually
deliberately blew up the broken
levi's of New Orleans to cause
a flood in the city. Dumb and
out of touch and not a shred of
proof anywhere but there it made
national news. The AP microphones
were never turned off.

More recently and again at New
Orleans, was another march and
rally to nowhere, this time suggesting
a new government conspiracy to
keep the residents unnecessarily
out of the Public Housing Authority
building even though the building
was scheduled for full demolition.
Yes dumb and loud, say it proud,
there too were the Associated
Press cameras even though it is
widely known that both mold contamination
and PCB contamination crawls up the
interiors of sidewall spaces regardless
of the number of floors between apartments
in a building. Perhaps the Associated
Press could have given the marchers
a clue that they were marching against
for the right to die with contamination
certainty.

Now here we all have it, back
to the Same Ole in Washington,
Rev. Jackson telling the Associated
Press cameras that he is now a
new founded celebrity since the
public now "accepts" his position
of the anti-war movement. And out
of the exiled closet comes actress
Jane Fonda to reenact her Vietnam
War Hanoi Jane routine much
to the chagrin of the Veterans
who can still remember the pain
from those times gone by.

The problem here you see is the
Associated Press is just plain
dumb in their choices in what
is and is not the definition of
news. Jane
Fonda the has been, Rev. Jesse
the nothing-original, and would
somebody please shut off the marches
so we can find out what really
happened to poor Barbaro??

At any given time, the Associated
Press could have, and even should
have given adequate reporting
and news coverage video time to
the many rational, truthful, and
wholly verified Veterans who would
have been more than glad to provide
them with the next lead news story of
the day, exposing the internal horrors
of the VA agency. These would be lead
news stories of duration and subtsance
which would attrack even a non-Veteran
audience and boost with certainty
national news sales to an all time high.

But instead, we get the dumb,
the repeated, the overexposed, the
now uninteresting, and the no longer
unusual events of Jesse Jackson
and Al Sharpton holding yet another
one of their "cottage industry"
marches and rallies, this time
on opposition to the war in Iraq,
and not to be confused with those
"other" marches and rallies such
as a million Black men, or the let's
all do it just because the national
Mall is there march and rally.

What is plain to Veterans who follow
the news over long periods of time
is that the news really ISN'T
anymore, but instead, the news really is the
Democrat Party in a
newspaper format.

Somebody please tell the Associated
Press and Jesse Jackson to put a
sock in it, because we are bored
out of our minds with rallies and
marches to nowhere based on causes
which can only be solved by a fixed
and repaired foreign policy which
Democrats helped to break.
