| Well we have all seen it, now haven't we. News reports leading up to and during the 4th of July holiday, traying to "redefine" and pass off this hallowed time of Patriotism into a holiday for foreign immigrants who are just swearing in their citizenship. So let me do this on your behalf: "Hey you screwed up news Nazi's, the 4th of July is about the fruits and rewards of WAR !! " THERE ---- now don't ya just feel a little better now that somebody got that over with? I have yet in my own mind, been able to see or comprehend the connection they are making to foreign immigrants coming to this Land Of The Free, Home Of The Brave, and how that all figures into the July 4th holiday season. If you are not talking about the Revolutionary WAR, or Philadelphia and the U.S. Constitution, or the development of Washington DC as a nations capitol, or the famous battlegrounds that caused the British to lose the war, then you aren't talking at all about the meaning and spirit of July 4th in America. Be sure to stand up to your local newspapers, radios, and TV stations and get right into their faces next year and make it a point to them that 4th of July has nothing at all to do with foreign immigrants to America. Oh contrar, and get outta my face with THAT horse dung, I say! I for one took a ship cruise to New York City which then also stopped and toured the West Point academy along the way. It rained in southern New York that day, but dressed for the weather I took my camera and made a go of it anyway so I brought back some gems for all of you to see.
