For those Veterans who live in
the inner cities of the U.S.
the easiest and cheapest meal
you can find anywhere is
STILL Chinese Fried Rice.

Go into any carry-out version
of a Chinese food place and
order up a full pint or quart
size of Vegetable Fried Rice
or Pork/Chicken Fried Rice
and you have yourself a meal
for starting at $3.00

In some cases in downtown
or at the Malls, the hot Chinese
Tea is free with any order
so with a full plate of
Fried Rice and Tea you have
yourself a cheap meal that
is better than anything you
can get from Stouffers
or Swansons.

If you have a few extra
dollars after the VA has
robbed you blind on your
Disabilty Claims delay
and really want to splurge
then you can also add
an Egg Roll to the Fried
Rice for an extra $1.50
to your meal.

You can order the Fried
Rice meal either in take
out containers or piled
on a plate to eat in,
but it's not recommended
that you do this at Chinese
fine dining restaurants
where almost no carry-out
is done. The 2 establishments
are not the same.

Nonetheless, a cheap and
filling meal is waiting
for you in Fried Rice
until your VA checks start
coming in.
