The Chief of the Veterans Benefits
Claims Unit, Joseph Collorafi, has
been suspended without pay at VARO
New York City on West Houston Street
for being caught red handed falsely
backdating cases like my own, on
the VA computer system to make it
appear that they were being adjudicated
much faster than they really were.

Collorafi had already been named
by me in 2 different Civil Rights
Complaints at the VA Central Office
back in January of this year,
for completely and utterly trashing
my case which included entire decades
of missing documents that for sure,
I had previously submitted.

The VA Inspector Generals Office
is investigating Collorafi and yes
he does have his legion of lawyers
representing him to get out of the
whole thing.

The press version of his suspension
and impending firing will soon be
posted on this FORUM page elsewhere
under a different category.

In the veterans arena, we are referring
to the ensuing VA scandal of shredded
documents and falsified claims as
Shredder-Gate so if you see that
phrase around in our chat rooms,
then this is what they are talking
about.

On top of what Collorafi was doing at
the VARO NYC level, the BVA in turn
was issuing fake and phoney Remand
orders for the documents that the
veterans had already submitted to
the C file but didn't know that VARO
had removed and shredded the papers.
So it's a 2-layer crisis at both
VARO and BVA levels.
