The Veterans Disability Commission
has been conducting a nationwide
survey of VA Raters (adjudicators)
and VSO's for a few months now, and
the 2 part results of that survey
are now posted at their main website
for the February and March Minutes

It just so happens that the main
body of the Survey Results was
given out in the March session,
and to say this was a huge leap
of validation to disenfranchised
Veterans everywhere is an
understatement. Your day of Victory
over the VA came and went in that
room, and those of us who were there
at the time, almost fell to tears
in celebration and joy when the
unveiling took place. Your Vet-days
of being trapped in this VA Hellhole
are pretty much numbered and you
can start getting your Shortimer's
Calendars out and clicking off
the days.

Before I start telling you about
the actual results of the Survey,
let me describe to you how the
Commissioners themselves reacted
as the slides went up on the screen.

3 of them all lifted their heads
in Trio and looked directly over
to MY chair where I was sitting
off to the side of the room, as
if to validate and nod in comradery
all the work we have done here
at Vets for Justice in the past
year in front of them, to heighten
their awareness to the broken
VA disability system.

The same 3 then put their heads
in their hands and shook their
heads back and forth as if to
be shocked and in utter disbelief.
The rest of the Commissioners
became incredibly quiet also
in disbelief.

This was the big moment we had
all waited for, and it was
PRICELESS to be there in person.

The Raters and VSO survey
results included the following
gems:

** the VA only has an 88% accuracy
rate in claims, the lowest of
the federal agencies who provides
disability assistance.

** Raters are less likely to identify
themselves as Veterans than VSO's
apparently because of the guilt
factor.

** Raters are more likely to have
college degrees than VSO's

** VSO's are more likely to be
combat Veterans, nearly 95%
and this means that the VSO's
are actually using PTSD cases
to do the claims of others.
This means people with drug
and alcohol backgrounds; people
with memory loss and mental
delusions; and people with
other mental problems are doing
the mainstay of Veterans disability
cases at Veterans Service
Organizations. [ this means YOU ]

** While 50% of the Raters are more
than aware that they do NOT
have enough training to do their
jobs, (only 80 hours per year before
being released into the field to
adjudicate YOUR claims,) the VSO's
on the other hand are right full
of arrogance. Nearly 70% of the
VSO's said they had "plenty" of
training. I like to call this
the Blowhard Factor! This is
where the VSO's are so incredibly
dumb on just how much they don't
know, they do not even know enough
to comprehend just how very deprived
and inadequate their training really
is. Long on arrogance, short on
knowledge, that's who the VSO's
have become. No WONDER there are
737,000 backlogged disability cases!

** 70% disagree and say they do
NOT understand the VA claims process

** 84% say the process is NOT
easy to navigate.

** VSO's are unoversighted and
unqualified for jobs.

Incompetence, stupidity, and the dumb
leading the stupid is what ya
have everybody, and BOY don't we
all know it ???

It was here that the Commission
split in half down the middle
and are now talking about a full
and complete overhaul of the
VA Comp system. We have also since
loaded in a call to mandatorily
require the VA in the hereafter,
to impose minimum education
requirements on the hiring of both
Raters and VSO's; either with
a minimum certification as a
Paralegal college degree, OR
a Community Nurse certification.

You all need to understand
something here and now on
another point.

There are fraud cases, fools,
dummies and morons inside
this Veterans arena who resist
change at every turn because
all the incompetencies and failures
benefits THEM alone. Don't listen
to them. There are fraud cases
receiving Comp benefits while
the legitimate cases are receiving
nothing at all.

Between the results of the
Raters survey, and buffoonish
presentation by Doctor Fool
[ see other Forum above], these 2
incidents worked AGAINST the
VA's standing at the Commission,
and we are literally just one banana
peel away from getting broad and
sweeping change to the VA disability
system from this Commission.

The day of liberation that we
have all been waiting for is
nearly here and upon us, and the
moment could not be any S-w-e-e-e-t-e-r !!
